"This is one of the best classes I've taken during my four years here. It was intellectually stimulating but not confusing, and applicable to my own personal life and moral development. I enjoyed attending lectures, and it was so obvious that Professor Longenecker cared a lot about his students. The visual components of the powerpoint slides made the material so much easier to sort out (different colors/themes for different philosophers/schools of thought), and I feel like I have a really good grasp on this material. Before I thought philosophy was too abstract and complex, but now I'm really intrigued by it and hope to study it more on my own."
